This week saw the launch of a new collaborative project called SEEM (which stands for South-East Experimental Music) London. It is an initiative that is designed to grow and nurture audiences for avant-garde music in SE London.
Sam Gillies came up with the idea during Noizemaschin!! #4. Realising that there is a flourishing scene of new and experimental music in this corner of London and, though we share the same artists from time to time, our audiences are different and there is little or no communication between promoters.
We decided that if we worked together we could reach larger audiences and give this exciting music scene the attention it deserved.
More information about SEEM and its members and events can be found on the website. There you can also sign up to a regular newsletter that will let you know about all things experimental music in SE London.
